Solutions for Urban Resilience

Synthetic Data for digital risk mitigation with sustainable and resilient urban management

Climate change, population growth, urbanization, pollution, COVID-19 and public health necessitate development of tools for data driven solutions to make our cities smarter, connected and resilient.

SMART.

SAFE.

CONNECTED.

Our team is on the cutting edge of understanding how city-specific urban factors impact temperature, pollution, and even spread of airborne diseases such as COVID-19.

SURe leverages the power of computational physics and statistical mechanics to provide synthetic data without interfering with people’s privacy.

COVID-19 Risk and Severity Predictions

SURe uses advanced AI system that predicts real-time risk and exposure to COVID-19 based on environmental, weather and city texture factors at the scale of streets to enable its users to understand what type of preventive measures (i.e. masks) to use where and when.

SURe also connects its users with local testing and preventive resources, as well as recommendation on their type to foster healthier and safer communities, especially during seasonal waves of COVID-19.

Air Temperature in Cities

At any given time, air temperature in cities can vary by as much as 5°C (9°F), which impacts energy usage, CO₂ emissions, comfort of living and public health. SURe leverages publicly available big data and scientific models to analyze texture of cities and provide future (climate change adjusted) and real-time temperature data at the scale of zip codes, neighborhoods, or streets.
